1. Knowing the sports you’re shooting.

It sounds like common sense but most people when starting in sports don’t know the sports they are shooting. It’s important to understand the basics so you know what to look out for in what moments. Also don’t be afraid to learn a new sport 🏐

2. Don’t stop cause the play is over 

There are two huge parts to sports photography. Action & Reaction. Something to remember is to never stop shooting just cause the athletes stop. Athletes are constantly finding new ways to celebrate in everything they do. Stay with it. This will set you apart from the rest. 

3. Understanding you can’t get everything.

Nobody is perfect and sometimes we are in the right place at the right time and miss focus or even have poor structure of framing when shooting. Learn from the mistakes and get back to the game.
