To address the ever-present threat of wildfires in southern California, Girl Scouts San Diego is taking preventative steps in partnership with the San Diego River Conservancy (SDRC).🌳 

We are excited to introduce you to the final phase of our vegetation plan: the installation of an emergency generator at the Camp Winacka water treatment plant.💧 This enhancement will establish the camp as a pivotal emergency response center for the Julian, CA region, ensuring continuous access to safe drinking water for CalFire during local power outages.💡
