In this #throwbackthursday, we're returning to the 80s and visiting the Banna Slug Spring Fair. In 1986, the newly formed Student Union Assembly voted for a campuswide ballot measure to decide on the UCSC mascot....the result was the Banana Slug over the sea lion. 📮🐌🥇
