“Being an only child and going to a small high school, I was nervous about finding a community at Michigan State. From the moment that I walked into Pi Phi, I knew that I had found a family. The conversations that I had in the house made me feel heard and understood. I felt like I could be myself around these girls and that they could be themselves around me. Since joining Pi Phi, I have met my absolute best friends and future bridesmaids. One of my biggest wishes as an only child growing up was to have a little sister, and my little is truly like my real sister.
