Immediately when I walked into the Ann Arbor Coffee Roasting Company, I could tell this was the place to be especially if you are a student on campus. The shop has lots of space and tables for students and everyone alike to study, chat and enjoy great coffee. I have tried a few drinks here and I have loved all of them. The iced Whiskey Latte has a very unique flavor that I had never tried before, but I was intrigued by the first sip.

I recently went back and had an iced Almond Roca Latte, and it was absolutely amazing. The cherry and almond flavors with a dash of mocha syrup on top made for a delicious drink. Another drink I have tried is the Coconut Cream Latte, which is very smooth and rich with just a hint of coconut flavor. There are also many pastries and bagels available, but they do tend to run out fast. Since the shop is right in the center of downtown, it is usually very busy and sometimes it takes a while for your drinks to come out. The baristas work as fast as they can, and are still very kind and ready to help you make a coffee decision.

The one thing that I wish was different about this shop is the price of their drinks. A latte is going to average about $5.60, and a larger size will be about a dollar more than that. The cup sizes are not that big, so I do not think the prices are particularly fair. Even though it is costly, this is still a shop I will go to every once in a while because the coffee is very flavorful and it is a great environment.
