Did you know? The Florida Theatre has been restored & revamped many times since becoming a part of Jacksonville's downtown in 1927.

In 1982, the theatre held a restoration party - not to celebrate completed renovations, but to allow patrons to have one last look before construction began. An open-air buffet & live music drew in over 1,000 people to party the night away on Forsyth!
