Do you grow garlic at home? If you don't, why not?

Garlic is one of the easiest crops to grow and store!

Thumb it in now & dig it up in 7-9 months. That's pretty much all there is to it!

Here are a few tips for #WNC gardeners who are new to growing garlic:

• Choose a soft neck variety (#softneckgarlic varieties generally perform better in the South)
• Plant cloves around October
• Plant in full sun
• Mulch your garlic beds to provide insulation
• Braid softneck garlic into an edible display.
