## Caption

To celebrate Women’s History Month, we are highlighting a group of influential women in the game of golf from Ohio.

@reneepowell_golf was raised in East Canton, Ohio, on a golf course built by her father. She first swung a golf club at the age of three and became the second African American woman to play on the @lpga_tour when she made her debut in 1967. Following her time on the tour, she dedicated her life to diversifying the game of golf. Today, Renee is the Head Golf Professional at Clearview Golf Club - the same course where she started her golf journey!
