Please be aware that as of noon today, July 12th, a province-wide campfire ban is in effect. 🔥

With rising temperatures, the risks of wildfires grow rapidly, so here are a few things to keep in mind while out exploring that can help further prevent wildfires:

🔥 Dispose of used matches and cigarette butts responsibly. Do not throw them out of your vehicle's window.

🔥 Keep vehicles away from dry grass or other plant life. The hot exhaust pipe could be enough to start a flame.

🔥 Avoid using fireworks, as they are a high contributor to wildfires in BC.
