Location Details ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Nothing feels better than traveling through the Italian Dolomites. The 3 weeks that I spent there were some of my favorite ever. 

Spot 1: Seceda View 

If you’re here after about halfway through May you can take a gondola straight to the top of this iconic photo spot. If you end up here too early in the season or want to save a bit of money, you can hike the 9 mile round trip trail that wasn’t too difficult. Definitely an amazing location that will look pretty awesome regardless of the weather.

Spot 2: Lago di Braies

This spot is a super iconic Dolomites destination and you’ve almost definitely seen photos from here before. Sleep overnight in the parking lot or plan to drive there super early to get there for sunrise and beat all the tourists.

Spot 3: Tre Cime di Lavaredo 

This is an incredible viewpoint that you can either drive most of the way up to during the summer months, or if you again are there too early or want to save money you can hike the 10 mile round trip road up to this trailhead. I did this hike twice during my Dolomites trip and both times were absolutely incredible.

Spot 4: Lago di Carezza 

This lake was a little on the low side when I saw it in early May so it would be better to go later in the summer when it’s more full, but it was still a gorgeous spot for some quick photos. Get here earlier before sunset so you get the golden hour light on the lake itself before the sun goes behind the nearby hills.

Spot 5: Passo Giau 

This ended up being one of my favorite Dolomites spots and is a little less popular among photographers compared to some of the other locations. We spent the night here and I loved every second of it.
