We are thrilled to celebrate Plastic Free July by showcasing fromthebowseat’s incredible student art that highlights the urgent issue of plastic pollution. 🎨These young artists are not only raising awareness but also inspiring change through their creativity. Their works depict the harsh realities of plastic pollution and celebrate climate heroes who are making a difference in this global crisis 

Plastic Free July started in 2011 as a small initiative of the Plastic Free Foundation in Australia and has grown into a global practice with millions of participants from over 170 countries. The month-long campaign aims to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of plastic pollution, encouraging people to create small plastic-free habits—without losing sight of the need for broad systemic change.

Through collective awareness of the plastic pollution crisis and its impact on human health, wildlife, and our ecosystem, we can put greater pressure on governments and corporations to truly shift the system away from plastic and its toxic chemicals and move toward real solutions: reuse and refill systems + plastic-free regenerative alternatives.
