When asked about becoming the first woman to win the ESPY award for Best Record Breaking Performance, Caitlin Clark gave credit to the women who came before her and the records they broke. 

Caitlin won the award for breaking the NCAA Division I scoring record this past year. While she wasn’t able to attend the awards in person, she sent a video message to give her thanks.
