The Musical Instrument Lending Library is the first of its kind in New York City!

There are over 20 different instruments you can rent, from guitars to keyboards to even an electric violin! 

The Brooklyn Central Library also has a free amateur recording studio for anyone working on audio or visual projects.

And don’t forget the vinyl collection where you can check out up to 3 albums per person

Libraries so much more than just renting books and are one of the best free resources in NYC.

Anyone in New York State can become a member of the Brooklyn Public Library system. What are you waiting for?
