There's a bird-friendly reform brewing in Chicago's urban spaces, and it has started with a massive project at mccormickplace !

Teaming up with ngsfilmsandgraphics, Feather Friendly is proud to be at the forefront of this transformation. As recently highlighted by wttwchicago (make sure to view WTTW’s video of the installed markers in their report), our bird-friendly solution is transforming this iconic Chicago building into a haven for migratory birds.

This landmark project is not just about treating glass – it's about setting a new standard for urban sustainability.

With its groundbreaking decision to make over 100,000 sq ft of glass bird safe, McCormick Place has become a compelling example for all buildings in Chicago and beyond.

chicagobirdcollisionmonitors (a volunteer bird conservation organization) and the fieldmuseum are the unsung heroes behind this project. Their tireless efforts to monitor bird collisions at buildings in Chicago have revealed the full extent of this major bird conservation issue.

This, however, is just the beginning. We envision a future where every building is a sanctuary for birds and a symbol of environmental responsibility. We invite you to be a part of this vision – reach out to us to learn how you can make your property safer for birds!
