As their tenth princeton reunion approaches, Tracey Ross, Jocelyn Yin, Alex Flores, and Adam Petkun (all MPA ’10) put their heads together — via #Zoom, of course! How could their cohort come together during the Covid-19 pandemic in a way that not only fosters ongoing class unity but also honors the spirit of public service nurtured at the wilson_school? The group decided to coordinate a gift to celebrate the milestone anniversary. Ross, Yin, Flores, and Petkun drove the effort to give back to the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund (njprf), which is providing grants to existing community organizations with a demonstrated track record of caring for vulnerable communities. Thanks to the donations of nearly 60 MPA and MPP classmates (and the help of a classmate's employer match), the class raised $30,000. “We wanted to make a contribution in aid of the place that brought us all together — New Jersey,” they said. “We hope even more Woos will find a way to give back— not only to New Jersey, but also to community foundations where they live.” #TigersHelping #Princetagram #givingback
