Over the Weekend in the aleagues we saw ccmariners reach the Grand Final, their first in 11. One thing we couldn’t help realise apart from all the talk of the young talent Montgomery has promoted in the set up, is The Old Guard, and it don’t get more relevant than their Keeper Danny Vukovic. He and Sydney FC’s Alex Wilkinson are the only 2 players who had in played Season 1 in the Aleague. Talk about going Full Circle, a Homecoming for the ages and he played his part in the Semi Finals with some cracking Saves.
