Growing plants...just to feed your compost?! Make room kitchen scraps and yard debris; we have some pretty great reasons to add plants like borage, comfrey, legumes, and yarrow to your garden plans to balance out all those browns in your compost pile.

🌱Germinates easily and grows quickly
🌱Has lots of stems and foliage
🌱Takes up many nutrients, gathering and storing them in its foliage until they’re released into the compost during decomposition
🌱Is an attractive plant with fuzzy, nodding buds that open to pretty blue, pollinator-friendly flowers
