Our favorite tomato grower emmabiggs_grows shared some great tips and photos with us to keep tomato plants healthy and ensure a bountiful harvest like this one!

1. Choose the training method that maximizes your space and works for your tomato varieties. Cages aren't the only option - try staking and trellising (Emma's preferred method), too. Emma has the pros and cons of each in her guest blog.

2. Water early in the day so leaves have plenty of time to dry - and avoid watering the leaves as much as possible. This helps prevent the spread of disease.

3. Inspect your plants daily! This is the best way to keep pests and diseases in check, and to pick tomatoes at their prime.

Check out her blog at the link in our profile and head to her profile to see some awesome garden photos. Thanks, Emma, for always inspiring us to try something new in the garden!
