🤔 Ever wondered how matcha is grown?

🌱 Matcha powder is simply green tea leaves stone ground into a fine powdered form. 
🍵 The actual leaves are the same as the regular green tea leaves you know and love but the preparation and method of consumption is different - which brings along many extra benefits. 
🍃 Regular green tea drinkers brew the leaves in hot water and then consume only the water, matcha drinkers dissolve the whole leaf in water reaping the potent nutritional benefits. 
🌳 The bushes are also grown under the special shade for 3-4 weeks allowing the levels of chlorophyll, caffeine and amino acids increase which results in the leaves turning a deeper green.
