Just ran through a surprise downtownhouston downpour right at quittin' time. The smell of humidity, heat, oil/gas and rain is oddly familiar -- flashbacks of Manila and Hong Kong come to mind. You can't tell, but in this picture I'm running through #Mongkok back to my hotel in Central. Past the umbrellas, squatters, vendor carts and almost slipping. #always. I was the runaway guest from estyau's reception with four words: "Hey, I gotta go." Hugs, then running down escalators, up escalators, stairs and mashing elevator buttons with a prayer that I'd make it to hongkongairport in time to get back home. And I did. I even had time to exchange my HKD! #🇭🇰
