“Hi! I’m Alexus, and I am a double major in Studio Art and Philosophy. My current series of artworks are to highlight Latinas that have made an impact in my life. I do this with a mix media approach, oil paint and imitation gold leaf. I hope my work helps the LatinX community to feel pride and joy in their heritage. After graduation, I want to work closer with the LatinX community here in San Antonio and keep making art work for this community.”⁣⁣
