“I’ve met some pretty awesome people through triathlon. It’s also helped me conquer some fears.  My most challenging moment was definitely getting over my fears of open water and bridges because of an abusive relationship. I’m still working on overcoming it, because PTSD decides to show up when it wants, but it’s definitely gotten much better. I learned that I can work through my fears and do amazing things. ➡️

I’m so proud of finishing my swim at Ironman 70.3 Florida. I used to be terrified of the water so my goal was just to finish with a smile on my face. I had a few moments of panic while I was in the water so it was a slower swim, but I finished and had the biggest smile when I got out of the water. 

I’m not always training to compete. I’m training for mental health. I’m training to show my daughter that we can do amazing things with our bodies and minds. I’m showing her that you can train, but still have time for family and friends.” - Meghan, Team Live Feisty. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️
