On Roo’s heavenly birthday I wrote a post centered around time-we always wish we had more. For our board member, Brandi, time was all she wanted. Boba celebrated her 16th birthday in style and even at 16, you always think and hope you will have time to say goodbye. When you do not, it is soul-crushing. Turns out Boba had cancer and a tumor that burst. There was very little time for anything. Boba was SO loved by Brandi and her friends and family and the loss is immense. I sit here with tears streaming for Brandi, who does so much for us. Around here our hearts break every day trying to heal others with hope. When one of our own is dealing with loss from that dreaded c word, it hits really hard. So, let’s wrap our arms around Brandi, Tony and sweet Phineas as they mourn the loss of their family member, Boba. We are so sorry and we are thinking of you. Let’s imagine her with Roo having endless ice cream, pain-free. Tomorrow is never promised, so remember to always live in the moment 🩷Boba Forever #livelikeroo #dog #dogs #dogsofinstagram #dogsoftiktok #fcancer #cancer #doglover
