#repost  devineforsenate This is the last time I saw Congresswoman JacksonLeeTX18 .  We were at CBC weekend 2023z. I got to know Congresswoman Lee when I was on the board of leagueofcities .  As a former city councilwoman, she was always so supportive. 

At this last meeting, I was sharing with her that I was running for state Senate and she was so encouraging. 

She was an amazing public servant and fighter for all. She will be missed.
