Today is Remember Me Thursday, a day to shed light on adoptable pets in shelters and bring awareness to those who haven’t yet found their forever homes. Chester here is one of those sweet pups who hasn’t quite yet found the right match after 9 months of patiently waiting. He was recently adopted but returned because he was stronger than realized while on a leash and his new human was worried he couldn’t keep him safe while walking.

For this Remember Me Thursday, help share Chester’s story with the world & help find him a loving forever home where he can spend the rest of his days. He will need to be the only pet in the home & would love a human to spend time relaxing outside or just lounging around the house. At SHS, we never euthanize due to time or space, but not all shelters have that luxury & need to make room to create more happy tails.
