🌊 Did you know that 70% of our submitters to the Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Contest are women? 🙌💜 This Women's History Month, we want to recognize women's courage and perseverance on land and at sea.

🌌Women 👧 have always been at the forefront of the campaign to safeguard our planet, from the groundbreaking women who broke barriers in science 🧬 and conservation to the numerous women throughout the world working for environmental 🌍 justice.

✨ So, while we watch the waves lap over this poem by Elane Kim- our past Fellowship Grant and Contest winner, let us remember the transformational power of the feminine soul, which can withstand even the most powerful currents and emerge gleaming like a priceless pearl.
