🦪 Why are we posting artwork featuring a green crab on #NationalOysterDay? Because #GreenCrabs are an invasive species that easily adapt to the warming waters caused by #ClimateChange, and they are harming #oysters and other #shellfish. Plus, we love how Luyi used a comical style to present the issue in an understandable way to rouse people’s awareness! Lots of researchers are working on the issue, and solutions include creating a market for green crabs in the food industry which also creates new jobs for fisherman. #Oyster #Oysters #OysterDay
