Congrats to the Student Athletes of the Week, Dawson Tait and Alanna Fallone!

Tait helped lead the No. 3 ritlacrosse team to a 2-0 record last week. The junior attack led RIT in scoring with 14 points on eight goals and six assists, shooting 70.6 percent. Wednesday, Tait tallied five points on three goals and two assists in a 14-10 win at SUNY Cortland. Saturday, he recorded a career-high nine points on five goals and four assists in a 22-13 win over No. 15 Rensselaer. Tait sits third on the team in scoring with 42 points on 23 goals and 19 assists.

Fallone helped ritwlax to a 2-1 record last week, leading the team in scoring with 18 points on 15 goals and three assists to go along with seven ground balls, 14 draw controls and six caused turnovers. Fallone tallied five goals, six points, won seven draw controls and caused a turnover in a loss at SUNY Brockport. She tallied a game-high seven goals and eight points in a 19-15 win over Vassar College on Friday. Saturday, She tallied three goals and four points, four caused turnovers and a draw control in a 16-5 win over Bard College. Fallone leads RIT in scoring with 52 points on 41 goals and 11 assists in 12 games this season.
