#ICYMI, the Excessive Heat Warning for the Las Vegas valley has been extended to Wednesday. 🥵
 
Plus, according to nwsvegas, strong to a few severe thunderstorms are expected in the forecast this afternoon and evening. ⛈️
 
It’s monsoon season, so there is potential for flash flooding. Here are some tips to keep you safe from the heat and the rain: 
 
-Due to excessive heat, cooling stations, including the lvccld locations, are open July 22-24.  
-Our Courtyard Homeless Resource Center is also a cooling station. It’s a centralized facility for anyone who needs help accessing services.
-If you see a flooded road, don’t drive across it. Turn around, don’t drown. 
-Monitor weather updates and heed weather-related warnings.
