Mamie Till-Mobley didn’t know the last time she’d see her son alive was when she dropped him off at the 63rd train station in Chicago on August 20, 1955.
 
Emmett Till took a southbound train to Money, Mississippi, to spend time with relatives, but ended up a murder victim at the center of a hate crime that would catapult a mass civil rights movement exposing the horrors of the Jim Crow South.
