The Poor People’s Campaign is an initiative PACKED with challenges, grievances, solutions, and perseverance! 

In 1968, Dr. King, the SCLC, and civil and human rights activists were working to end poverty for the 30+ million people experiencing the plight. After Dr. King’s assassination, the dream continued, and brought demonstrators to Washington, D.C., as they built Resurrection City on the National Mall so government leaders could not ignore their message.
