Rain Can’t Stop Us!

More than seven inches of rainfall flooded the pathways of Resurrection City in 1968, but the weather didn’t stop anything during the six-week period of the Poor People’s Campaign. Here, a woman, child and clergyman are spotted walking through the mud.

The image was captured by Robert Hudson who was known for his collection of images spotlighting the City of Hope.
