Get to Know.. ANITA ALVAREZ 👑

Started the sport at: 5️⃣ years old!
How did you start: My mom was a coach, so I grew up at the pool watching the sport and was immersed in it from the day I was born. (Before I was born actually)🍼
Club: the_tonawanda_aquettes 🌆
Favorite Routine: Acrobatic ✨One of my favorite things about this sport is the team aspect, and I’ve always been told that lifts are the ultimate sign of the strength and unity of a team. So to feel each member of the team fully focused to give their 100% in their different role of each lift all at the same exact moment, is such a powerful feeling. 💪🏽

Most excited for at the games: Opening Ceremony (my first one!!!!), To have lots of family and friends in the stands watching and supporting, and to enjoy this experience with a full team and see all of them live out their Olympic dreams for the first time!! 🥹
Another athlete you would ‘fan girl’ over: lavellerose, emilysonnett ⚽️, & nyjah 🛹
