Just the sweetest ❤️❤️❤️ “In our live like roo cancer care box was a pamphlet for different things.  One of the items was a bucket list for dogs with cancer. My sweet hubby took this to heart and without my knowledge and as a surprise he took Bella on a bucket list trip to the Midlothian fire department. She had an awesome time and the pictures are so cute!  Great big thank you to Midlothian Fire Department and William Gerald Piper Jr . Bella is a 9 year old fawn pug who along with her brindle mom, Frankie came to live with us 3 years ago.  We traveled 18 hours round-trip to get them (Texas to Tennessee and back in a weekend). To say I would do anything for them is an understatement.  I love them both very much.  Neither got very good vet care and last year when I took Bella in for a check up she had a lump on her back thigh and a tumor in her mouth.  She was diagnosed with mast cell tumor in her leg and epulsis in the mouth. The vet put her on benadryl and Pepcid since mast cell is a histamine driven tumor.  The tumor shrunk so we proceeded with removal of benign mouth tumor.  Bella did not adjust well to benadryl gave her diarrhea bad.  Next we tried zytec and it worked well but then we found 5 more tumors. All were aspirated and diagnosed as MCT.  5 are operable and one is not.  She is scheduled for surgery on 9/3 West Creek Animal Hospital in Fort Worth, TX.  Six weeks after surgery she will get Stelfonta injection in the inoperable site. This has been an emotionally trying time as well as financially burdened.  Please pray for us as we go thru this journey. We have applied for live like roo grant but the wait list is long.  They had us set up a go fund me account as well. The estimate for surgery and shot is $4500.  Any amount helps if you feel in your heart to help us, we would appreciate it.
