I'm not a regular fungi, I'm a cool fungi.

Redwood National Park is a great place to see a wide variety of mushrooms and fungi. The moist and temperate climate of the forest provides the perfect conditions for a diverse array of fungi to thrive. With its rich biodiversity and diverse ecosystems, the park offers ample opportunities for mushroom enthusiasts to explore and discover a wide range of fungi species. From vibrant and colorful mushrooms to rare and unique fungi, redwoodnps is a fantastic destination for mushroom and fungi enthusiasts to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of these fascinating organisms.

Image 2: A set of fly agaric (Amanita muscaria) mushrooms sitting on the forest floor. Commonly known as the fly agaric or fly amanita, it is a large white-gilled, white-spotted, and usually red mushroom that is a common in many aspects of popular culture. Pretty smurfy! 

Image 3: The Admirable Bolete (Aureoboletus mirabilis) stands tall within a redwood log. This species' most distinguishable characteristics are reddish-maroon streaks running down a long stipe (stem) that is always swollen at its base. The pictured specimen has a very small cap but still maintains the classically patterned stipe with its bulbous foundation. Don’t even think it.
