Can we be blunt for a moment? Okay, here goes: 

Great Sand Dunes: A sandy playground where you can marvel at towering dunes and try to convince yourself that sand in places it shouldn't be is just part of the experience.

Zion: A red rock wonderland where you can hike to your heart's content, or until you get stuck behind a group of slow-moving visitors taking selfies.

Grand Canyon: It's a big hole in the ground that makes you question your place in the universe. Watch your step. 

Denali: Home to North America's tallest peak, if you can actually see it through the clouds. Just be prepared for unpredictable weather with your epic views.

Sequoia and Kings Canyon: A forest of giants, peaceful rolling meadows, and squirrels that are surprisingly relentless when it comes to bargaining for your snacks. Don’t give in. 

Voyageurs: Where the lakes are crystal clear and the forests are lush and green. Prepare to navigate through a maze of waterways, dodging beavers, otters, and the occasional lost tourist who took a wrong turn in their kayak. There may be a few mosquitoes. Fun.
