Roll out the red carpet, here are the top stars of 2023 based on IMDb page views 🔥 These 10 stars consistently ranked the highest on IMDbPro's weekly STARmeter chart throughout the year, with rankings based on actual page views. See the top 10 below and click here to see the full list 👉 https://t.co/PTrWLgIyot
1. Pedro Pascal: It comes as no surprise that #PedroPascal is the top star of the year, playing the lead in two of 2023’s most popular TV series to critical acclaim. Audiences couldn’t get enough of Pascal as the gruff survivor Joel in ‘The Last of Us,’ returning weekly to watch as his character grew from reluctant protector to apocalyptic hero. While over on Disney+, the actor continued delighting fans as the enigmatic Mandalorian in Season 3 of the Star Wars spin-off. His work this year has earned him three Emmy Award nominations and led him to spend 13 weeks on IMDb’s STARmeter charts.

2. Mary Elizabeth Winstead: As part of the trifecta of women at the center of Star Wars series ‘Ahsoka,’ #MaryElizabethWinstead shot to the top of IMDb’s STARmeter chart, staying in the top five throughout the entire season. Behind her green Twi’lek makeup, Winstead portrayed Hera Syndulla, a character familiar to fans of the animated ‘Star Wars: Rebels.’ To close out the year, the actress lent her voice to the animated ‘Scott Pilgrim Takes Off,’ playing the same character she portrayed in the live-action Scott Pilgrim vs. the World 13 years ago.

3. Ana de Armas: No stranger to IMDb's Top Stars list, #AnaDeArmas has held court in the top five since 2020. Interest in the actress stayed high through awards season for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in 'Blonde.' Then, de Armas reunited with her Knives Out co-star Chris Evans in the Apple TV+ action comedy 'Ghosted,' which (despite mixed reviews), catapulted her to the top of STARmeter for three weeks. With the John Wick spinoff 'Ballerina' set to premiere next year, don't be surprised if she continues her Top Stars reign in 2024.

4. Jenna Ortega: #JennaOrtega entered the year riding a massive wave of popularity from her starring role in Tim Burton's 'Wednesday' on Netflix. Fan interest propelled her to #1 on IMDb’s STARmeter charts through December and into January, but Ortega wasn’t done yet. In March, 'Scream VI' gave her another boost as she reprised her role as Tara Carpenter. What’s next for the 21-year-old star? Season 2 of 'Wednesday' is scheduled to begin shooting this Spring, but for fans who can’t wait that long, Ortega will appear in Burton’s 'Beetlejuice 2,' starring as the daughter of Lydia Deetz.
5. Bella Ramsey: #BellaRamsey’s performance as Ellie in ‘The Last of Us’ set a high bar for the year. Not only did Ramsey breathe life into a beloved video game character, they also brought a refreshing levity to the role, drawing fans to their IMDb page in droves during the show’s initial release. Alongside co-star and fellow ‘Game of Thrones’ alum Pedro Pascal, Ramsey has been nominated for their first Emmy Award for the series, which are among the first major TV awards for a video game adaptation.

6. Margot Robbie: At the start of the year, #MargotRobbie went for broke in ‘Babylon,’ then made a poignant and graceful cameo in ‘Asteroid City’ before everything turned pink in July. As ‘Barbie’ topped the box office and toppled the patriarchy, Robbie spent six weeks in the top ten of our STARmeter chart — in fact, she's been in the top 100 for the entire year. Plus, she's a producer of Emerald Fennell's 'Saltburn,' which has proven to be an indie hit. Up next: The Oscars, right?

7. Rebecca Ferguson: #RebeccaFerguson kicked butt on the big and small screen this year, spending three months in the STARmeter top ten for her run in the hit Apple TV+ 'Silo,' then capping it off with her reprisal of MI6 operative Ilsa Faust in 'Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One.' What's next for Ferguson? She'll be back in 2024 as Lady Jessica Atreides in the highly anticipated 'Dune: Part 2' and we've got our fingers crossed for a swift return for 'Silo,' as Juliette Nichols continues to risk everything to find the truth.
8. Katee Sackhoff: Between her star-turning role on 'Battlestar Galactica' and her work in the Star Wars universe, #KateeSackhoff has earned her place in the halls of sci-fi royalty. And yet, it was Season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’ that sent the actor to the top of IMDb’s STARmeter charts, thanks to her stellar performance as Bo-Katan, a role she originated more than a decade ago in ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars.’ Sackhoff has been a fan favorite since her first appearance in Season 2, but it was Season 3’s penultimate episode, with its shocking revelations and daring decisions, that took her to number one on the STARmeter charts.

9. Carla Gugino: This isn't the first time #CarlaGugino has trended on IMDb. The actress has been in the STARmeter top ten 9 times over the years for everything from Zack Snyder’s 'Watchmen' to Mike Flanagan’s first Netflix series 'The Haunting of Hill House.' But it was her recent performance as “Verna” in 'The Fall of the House of Usher' that lit the internet on fire. Gugino’s transformative performance allowed the actress to show off her range, playing everything from a mysterious bartender to the spirit of a captured animal hungry for revenge. Viewers flocked to Gugino’s IMDb page to check out more of the talented performer’s work, resulting in a 5-week stay in STARmeter's top slots.

10. Cillian Murphy: Though ‘Oppenheimer’ is just one of #CillianMurphy's six collaborations with director Christopher Nolan, it's the leading role which launched him to the pinnacle of IMDb’s STARmeter when the anticipated film released in theaters worldwide this summer. Not since 'Batman Begins' had the actor reached such heights of fan awareness, and his portrayal (and sharp resemblance) of J. Robert Oppenheimer may well earn him his first Oscar nomination, alongside potential Best
