Meet Miguel! Miguel rang the bell in celebration of completing treatment for multi-system Langerhans’ cell histiocytosis once again. His journey began with a diagnosis at the onset of COVID-19 in May 2020. He endured lengthy hospital stays alongside his mother, separated from his family. Although initially completing treatment in 2022, Miguel faced additional challenges, requiring surgery and restarting chemotherapy in the summer of 2023. His latest chemotherapy regimen demanded daily hospital visits for weeks on end. 

Miguel and his family are thrilled to finally conclude his treatment. Tonight, the light tower shines in Miguel’s favorite color, a symbolic tribute to his triumph. 💙💙💙
