We're #VidantProud of the leaders who started their careers at the bedside. Dan Drake, PhD, RN, once a staff nurse, now serves as the president of Vidant Medical Group and Ambulatory Services.

Of nursing, Dr. Drake said, “I always knew that I needed to do something with my life that was in service to other people. I’ve lived that every day for almost 30 years now.”
