“My favorite thing about AKA is that I was never told Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was an organization I should join. Instead, I was shown why I should join. Being a legacy, I was shown what a chapter could do when they come together. I watched them raise scholarship money for seniors in high school. During a period of significant loss, I was shown the support system I would gain when I joined.
