Our summer spotlight this week highlights another trip to Vienna by our seniors Kayla Russell and Arika Tolbert! Kayla highlighted their trip by saying: “Spending two months in austria was the most incredible experience! I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to see so many amazing places! While in Austria, I lived with a host family (and Arika) which was very cool being able to learn so much about their culture and everyday lifestyle...I loved them, they were AWESOME!  I was also able to take two classes while in Austria, the first being art and architecture with Dr.O and the second was senior seminar with Dr.Hemenway! Both of my professors were absolutely incredible and it was very cool to be able to sit and learn in the classroom and then go out and experience/apply what we had learned in class through tours and even just walking around Vienna! One thing that I really enjoyed was the weekend trips we took and being able to see many beautiful places such as Salzburg, Prague, and Budapest! I am so thankful that I was able to also experience all these things with such awesome people!” What an unforgettable experience! #thehopedifference #gohope
