Meet our Student Spotlight this week: Lili Jaraczewski!

Lili is a sophomore and is majoring in biochemistry. 

Q: What is something you hope to accomplish before you graduate?

Before I graduate, I'd like to expand the pccatholic in size and activity level on campus. I want students to learn about our organization and invite newcomers in with open arms! I'm very passionate about my faith and it is something that I hope to share with others.  A loftier goal of mine to help establish an official track team for PC. We do have a cross country team bluehosexc (fall sport) but do not have an official NCAA track team (spring sport). Being part of the first Blue Hose track team would be incredible, and it would mean exciting progress for our running program as a whole. 

Q: What aspect of PC makes you proud to be a blue hose and why?

I love that PC is full of truly genuine people. People aren't "made" into Blue Hose. They are BORN Blue Hose. College should not be a place that changes your values and makes you into a new person. The people make PC what it is, and every Blue Hose brings something unique to the table, simply by being themselves. 

Q: How did you survive quarantine?

During quarantine, I needed my family. I would not be who I am without them. While I was home during the heat of the pandemic, they helped reaffirm the values I hold true in my heart. I also love to workout and run, and I am grateful to have been able to exercise and train for cross country during quarantine.
