Meet our Student Spotlight this week: Maya Evans!

Maya is a senior majoring in psychology.

Maya is the current president of pc_msu_, a Stirling, and is involved in various clubs such as the Spanish club, uno.at.ocho, presbydems. Among all of this, Maya was recently named second runner up for Homecoming Queen!

Q: What is your favorite class on campus and why?

My favorite class is Dr. Heiser, Rise of Christianity because it allows me to understand various arguments of the spread of Christianity as well as the interpretation of what the select historical documents that correlate provide.

Q: How are you dealing with social distancing and staying involved on campus?

Socially distancing definitely changed my daily routine of not hanging out with my friends. I’ve been looking into activities for MSU to participate in while keeping safety protocols that PC has implemented. I’ve got into the habit of checking my temperature daily, carrying hand sanitizer on my keychain, and wearing a mask around people.
