One of the craziest stories in the Olympics: The Spying Scandal.

New Zealand women’s team discovered that Canada women’s team was spying on their training via a drone, so they filed an official complaint to the IOC.

After an investigation, two Canadian assistant coaches were sent home— Joesph Lombardi and Jasmine Mander, who has a brother working in the New Zealand team.

Lombardi was even arrested and was given a suspended eight-month jail sentence by the French police after he admitted his actions. Flying an aircraft over a prohibited area is a serious crime in France and the punishment could’ve been much worse.

Bev Priestman, Canada coach, removed herself for the game against New Zealand tomorrow. But New Zealand want more. They are asking for either Canada to not be awarded points for tomorrow’s game, or kick them out from the competition. 😳

Tomorrow’s game is gonna be spicy 🥵
