💛🤎🧡Thankgiving is my favorite holiday. I love the food, the weather and most importantly, the family time!

But how do we celebrate the holidays AND stay safe during a pandemic?

❗️Experts urge we consider the following as numbers continue to rise:

💻🍴Virtual Dinner: SAFEST OPTION.
Gather from the safety of your own home and share a meal over Zoom or FaceTime.

🍁Outdoor Feast:
Consider gathering outdoors or open windows to encourage better ventilation if outdoor is not feasible.

🦃 Guest List:
Limit the number of guests. Consider high risk individuals like elderly, those with comorbidities or those traveling from hotspot regions.

⏳Duration:
Longer exposure without masks (ex. while eating) can lead to higher risk of infection. Consider light bites/finger foods rather than a five course extended meal.

🍂Get creative:
Consider starting a new tradition this year that includes wearing a mask the majority of the time. Ex: socially distanced around a fire pit or an outdoor movie night on a projector.

🏡Quarantine:
Consider limiting your exposure to multiple people on the days leading to your gathering. Consider getting a COVID test to make sure.

📣Talk:
Be honest about expectations and ensure everyone is on the same page! Speak up if you have symptoms or potential exposures to COVID positive individuals.

✨Remember the meaning of Thanksgiving! We should remain grateful at all times even when things don't go as planned. Keeping our loved ones healthy should be our priority!✨
