We need to keep sharing this important message from @for_the_love_of_earth : “Farmworkers are working in the fields right now, under smoke and ash. How can you help you ask? I’ve compiled a list of orgs working on the ground to support Farmworkers and their families, and taking political action to demand fair wages, and basic PPE *N95 masks* for Farmworkers.

During the Woolsey Fire in 2018 the town was empty, the only people left were Farmworkers and us (base camp for Wildland & structure Firefighters). We signed up for that but Farmworkers didn’t and they don’t receive hazard pay, over time, or even fair wages to begin with. Value Farmworkers.” #farmworkers #farmwork #california #calfire
