To me, there is nothing more important than letting people know my roots and where I come from. LUL taught me to forever take great pride in that. My favorite thing about my organization would have to be the overall love and acceptance that I have received from Hermanos in my chapter and beyond. LUL takes pride in not only fighting for Latino excellence, but the diversity of our Latino community. As a proud queer man, it’s really inspiring to see Hermanos with different cultures, backgrounds, and identities come together towards one purpose and I feel LUL and my chapter gave me a sense of purpose and belonging.” ~ Orlando Martinez
