Happy Friday! 🎉 Join us in congratulating peterhess, terrycollege Management Information Systems major for wrapping up a virtual internship with Dell Technologies in Austin, TX. He attributes  his success to utilizing Handshake and attending #ArchReady programs and career fairs.

When asked about what he learned, he said, ​"I learned how to apply all the knowledge that I've gained from studying at UGA to a real job. I also learned that although a lot was expected of me in my intern role at Dell, the UGA MIS department prepared me well for my role and for any level of technicality I would need to display throughout my internship."

​His advice to peers? ➡️ "I would say to make sure to understand exactly what the format and timeline of the internship is before you accept it. A lot of companies treat internships differently even within the same field and industry so its very helpful to ask a lot of clarifying questions to your interviewers before and after you receive an internship offer. It's not like a job offer where you can negotiate a lot but it's very helpful to understand what you're getting into and what will be expected of you." #Paws4DawgsOnTheJob
