## Caption

“For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the LORD of hosts.” -Malachi 1:11

The name of Jesus will be high and lifted up, above the heavens. He will be praised forever and always. Nothing we do will hinder this; God says his name will be great among the nations, for all of time. If we disobey God, he will still have his glory be shown. If his people are persecuted, torn down, disheartened, doubtful, and everything in between, God’s name will still be the highest. This is not to say we should ignore him, rather we should join in the praise. This is all that we have, to give him our lives. Our measly hallelujah to the King of kings. We have experienced the greatness of his name, and he will use us to showcase his glory because he loves us and wants to involve us in his plan. Not because he needs to, or that our good deeds give salvation, but because he loves us. From sunrise to sunrise, sunset to sunset, we shall shout his name. The people of God failed to give him the unpolluted offerings he is due; for all of time, we all have failed to give God the praise, worship, love, attention, honor, and glory he is due. Malachi is the last book of the Old Testament, then nothing for hundreds of years until the birth of Jesus; after thousands of years of disobedience, God gave us his best: his son Jesus to die for our sins that we may live. We are called to give God everything, our first and best, our lives in surrender. This is so he may work freely in our lives and we may clearly experience him.
