Yesterday, our tanenbaumchat faculty and staff came together for a PD Day. Teacher Professional Development (PD) days are an important part of a teacher's professional development. These days are set aside for teachers to improve their teaching skills, learn new strategies and techniques, and stay up-to-date with the latest research in their field. PD days can be a valuable opportunity for teachers to come together, share ideas and experiences, and collaborate with their peers.

PD kicked off with a fascinating and very informative keynote by Dwayne Matthews on the "Future of Education" and the positive* and negative implications of AI in education. The day continued with five of our very own teachers sharing best-practices with fellow faculty and culminated with department meetings and an important CPR course for our athletic department and coaches courtesy of greatlakesbirth. 

Todah rabah to everyone who took part, and our Parent Engagement Committee for the thoughtful Staff Appreciation gifts and cards. *Thanks as well to chatgptopenai for helping to pen the opening paragraph of this post. Perhaps AI isn't all that bad 🤣
